Driver with full UK valid driving licence essential due to the need to travel to the service location and drive the service vehicle/s.
We are seeking an Area Service Manager to manage 3 services within Southampton located across Bitterne, Bitterne Park and Shirley.
You will oversee the care and support for people who enjoy swimming, theatre trips, shopping, pottery, cooking/ baking and are enrolled in different work experiences. These are active services that support individuals who have learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. There may be instances with challenging behaviours however no physical disabilities are present.
The ideal Area Service Manager:
- Will have a genuine desire to help, develop and maintain high quality service provisions for vulnerable people; appropriate to their assessed needs.
- Be able to work with the Senior Operations Manager and the Registered Manager with CQC to deliver safe, high quality services for the people supported.
- Deliver best practice based on Positive Behavioral Support principles, adopting active Support and delivering high quality person centred support.
- Level 5 diploma or equivalent experience.
- Able to look at budgets and financial information to support the services to remain financially viable.
