Hunts Recruitment is seeking Flexible Female Waking Night Support Workers for shifts in Bury - West Sussex
You will be working within a residential home for young people in care. Providing nightly support to the young people who may display challenging behaviours and mental health needs due to previously experiencing trauma and/or abuse.
Pay per hour: £12.21 per hour increasing to £13.60 after 12 weeks continuous work.
Shift times: 22.00-07.00
Shifts: Across Monday to Sunday as required
Locations: Bury - West Sussex (Pulborough area)
Drivers preferred due to location of the home.

Principal Responsibilities:
- Acting as a professional parent, nurturing and caring for the young people looked after
- You will take a child-centred approach in providing high quality care that will enable each young person to grow and develop healthily.
- You will implement and maintain clear and consistent boundaries necessary for the creation of a safe and secure environment.
Who we are looking for:
- You will ideally have experience of supporting children or young people, especially those with additional needs and/or behaviours
- Experience supporting within a residential setting would be advantageous
- Due to the ratio's within the home we are currently only able to accept female applicants
- You will ideally have an enhanced DBS for the child and adult workforce which is registered on the update service. If not, we are happy to assist you in gaining one at the cost of £62.70
- You will ideally be a driver due to the location of the home
