Hunts Recruitment is looking for compassionate care and support staff to work within supported living services in the Fareham area. Your role will be working with adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs and some emotional behaviours.
Location: Fareham
Hours: Flexible agency work and block bookings where required / desired
Shifts: 12 hour shifts (day shifts and waking night shifts available)
Pay rate: £12.25 - £12.60 per hour

Your job duties as a Learning Disabilities Support Worker:

You will provide therapeutic care and support to patients with Mental health needs and learning disabilities including those with autistic spectrum conditions and associated complex needs

Duties include observing, monitoring, and keeping a record of residents' conditions, treating each person with dignity, compassion, and honesty.

Alongside an experienced team, you will be supporting individuals to live as independently as possible.

Aiding residents with hygiene duties, emotional well-being and independent living skills such as cooking or gaining access to the community
