Children’s Residential Waking Night Support Worker (Learning Disabilities Children’s Home)
Job Salary: £24,375.00 per annum
Job Location: Hedge End - Southampton
Job Hours: Full Time - Rolling rota allocated as 4 on 4 off at present - 10.5 hour shifts

We would especially welcome candidates who have experience of working with children and young people with learning disabilities.

As part of the team and along with other professionals, you will provide therapeutic care and support for each individual child.

You will act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change.

Our client supports young people to develop their independent living skills alongside supporting personal care and daily routines.

Who we are looking for:
- A minimum of 6 months experience working with children and young people
- You will need to be willing to train and learn to become the best advocate and supportive figure for the young people
- You should have passion and desire to enhance the residents lives
- You must be available for full time night hours - Your initial training will be 1 full week of day training
You will be joining a team that provides a safe, nurturing and loving environment for children and young people with learning disabilities and autism, led and supported by a senior team.
